Shipping Biological Material

All shipments of biological materials must be sent through eShip@Penn®.

All Shippers MUST be trained through EHRS prior to shipping Biological Material, Dry Ice, and other Dangerous Goods.

  • Contact EHRS PRIOR to shipping a Category A shipment - additional training is required!
  • IATA training certificates are available in WorkDay for all learners. Search for "IATA ONLY Customized Training Certificate" in the search bar. Keep your certificate on file for 2 years. An enforcement agency may ask to review your training records at any time.
