The university's main campus is regulated under a site wide Title V Air Permit.

All combustion sources on campus are potentially regulated under this permit.  This permit applies to most types of combustion sources, including: heaters, boilers, emergency generators, fire pumps, and any other type of combustion source or open burning.  Installation of new sources or modification/replacements of existing sources may require an installation permit through the City of Philadelphia.  Please contact Jim Crumley from EHRS with any questions at 215-746-5036.  Installation permits must be obtained before any new sources go online.

This permit also details the operational limitations and other pertinent regulatory requirements and violations can incur fines of up to $25,000 per day per occurrence.

Also, any associated fuel storage tanks may also be regulated by the State of Pennsylvania.  Contact Kyle Rosato with any questions related to storage tanks at 215-898-0766.
