This training module is presented by the Office of
Environmental Health and Radiation Safety. It is designed to
provide a basic understanding of the risks associated with
clinical dental exposure to bloodborne pathogens, common modes of
their transmission, methods of prevention, emergency
procedures and other pertinent information.
If you work in a research laboratory with bloodborne pathogens,
you must attend EHRS'
"Introduction to Laboratory and Biological Safety at Penn."
These programs meet the requirements
of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA) Bloodborne
Pathogens Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030. For a
