Sealed rotor heads or centrifuge cups are used for centrifugation of high concentrations or large volumes of biohazardous materials. If YES, then Use sealed rotor heads or gasketed centrifuge cups to help contain infectious aerosols and spills.
Counter balance tubes are weighed on a scale. If NO, then Counter balance tubes must be weighed on a scale. Eye-balling a counter balance tube can lead to the unit becoming unbalanced.
The unit has been serviced within the past calendar year to ensure that stress fractures, pitting, etc. has not occurred. If NO, then Contact the manufacturer’s regional representative to schedule a service appointment.
