A current and complete Exposure Control Plan is available in the laboratory. If NO, then Develop an Exposure Control Plan for employees exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
Staff have reviewed the Exposure Control Plan within the past calendar year. If NO, then Complete Appendix C of the Exposure Control Plan, review the Exposure Control Plan and Appendix C with laboratory personnel and make it readily available to all in your research laboratory.
Biohazard spill response procedures are posted in the laboratory If NO, then Post biohazard spill response procedures in each laboratory where biohazardous materials are stored or used. Biohazard spill response procedures can be found at the EHRS website.
Personnel have access to the University’s Biological Safety Manual? If NO, then Inform personnel that the University’s Biological Safety Manual is available on the EHRS website. It provides University-wide Biosafety guidelines for work with biohazardous materials.
