Laboratories that work with hazardous materials should consider keeping a small chemical spill kit on hand.  Fisher brand Universal Spill Response Kits can be ordered from Fisher Scientific and are also available in the Chemistry Building stockroom.

Two commonly used laboratory sized spill kits are shown below.

These kits can be used for for chemicals with the exception of HF or concentrated sulfuric acid.
